Responsibilities: - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and ensuring all items are properly sanitized and stored. - Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including arranging tables and chairs, setting up buffets, and replenishing supplies as needed. - Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately, following health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary environment. - Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management of any inventory needs or maintenance issues. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the efficient flow of service, assisting with food preparation and delivery as needed. - Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, cleaning chemicals, and equipment. - Perform routine deep cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing floors, cleaning ovens and grills, and sanitizing food preparation surfaces. - Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of food items to maintain freshness and quality. - Provide support to other staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. - Requirements: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation. - Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with kitchen and dining staff. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business. - A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the kitchen and dining facilities.
