Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Room Leader to join our established early years setting. The successful candidate will lead a designated room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Level 3 practitioner (or above) who is passionate about early childhood education and confident in leading a team to deliver outstanding practice in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the daily operations of the designated room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children., • Plan, implement, and oversee high-quality learning opportunities in accordance with the EYFS framework., • Monitor and support children’s learning and development through observation, assessment, and planning., • Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are consistently met., • Supervise, support, and mentor room staff, promoting teamwork and professional development., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory and nursery requirements., • Build strong, professional partnerships with parents and carers to support children’s progress and wellbeing., • Work collaboratively with the management team to contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery., • Support staff deployment and ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times.
