We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Polisher to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and polish of our restaurant’s common areas, furniture, fixtures, and restrooms throughout business hours. The ideal candidate will ensure that our guests experience a clean, polished, and welcoming environment at all times. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain cleanliness and polished appearance of restrooms, dining areas, furniture, and other common spaces throughout service hours. - Regularly sanitize and polish high-touch surfaces, including door handles, countertops, tables, and decorative fixtures. - Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed. - Promptly address spills, smudges, trash, and other cleanliness concerns to maintain a spotless environment. - Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas. - Perform regular polishing of metal, wood, and glass surfaces to ensure a pristine presentation. - Monitor and report any maintenance issues, such as leaks, broken fixtures, or equipment malfunctions. - Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests. About You: - Previous housekeeping, polishing, or cleaning experience preferred but not required. - Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation. - Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment. - Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, bending, lifting, and polishing tasks. - A commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and aesthetic standards. - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We are looking for an experienced cleaner, flexible to work during the week and during the weekend. The office is near to Covent Garden station, which is the meeting point each morning. We have some flats 10-15 min away by walking, but also 30-40 minutes away by train. The travel itself is not paid, but the time we spend travelling it is. We are cleaning daily 2-3 flats, depending on the size and distance. In the morning, the cleaners are coming to the office to take the keys, the cleaning products and the amenities such as coffee, shower gel etc. and then go to the flats. The start time may be different each day according with the tasks. 08:00-08:30 when we clean the offices, 09:30-10:00-10:30, when we have only flats. We can offer 0h contract or a position as a self employed, but a cleaner insurance is required. The rate is £15.40 per hour and the payment is once a month at the end of the month.
