Job Summary We are seeking a vibrant bartender to join our team in the heart of Camden Market. Our focus is cocktails, beer and wine. We are looking for someone who can confidently make all of our beverages, deliver great service to our customers and menu knowledge to direct guests to their ideal drink. Our perfect crew member is someone who can handle fast paced rushes with the self motivation to restock and deep clean in quieter moments. Tips are split between staff at the end of shifts, we also offer a free staff drink at the end of every shift. On top of that you'll also work in Camden Market and enjoy a variety of products with a trader discount! Duties • Greet customers warmly and take beverage orders accurately, serving tourists in the day time and private event bookings on some evenings, • Ability to work independently, sometimes running the bar solo (only after you are trained and ready), • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines, • Ensure the bar and front of house area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times, • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws, • Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently using the POS system, • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions, and offering recommendations, • Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing procedures at the end of shifts Experience • Previous experience working as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred, • Cocktail knowledge is preferred but not expected, • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment, • Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities, • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately, • Ability to work as part of a team We look forward to hearing from you, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to drop us a message!
