As Chef De Partie, you will work in close collaboration with the Sous Chef and Head Chef sharing responsibility for leading junior chefs. More about the role: Monitor standards of hygiene and appearance of your team to ensure company standards are maintained. Respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity. Prepare food in the correct manner as shown by the Head Chef, in compliance with company food specifications and photographs. Work with the entire team including managers and supervisors to provide quality, well-presented food with speed and efficiency. Where appropriate make recommendations to improve products and service Follow instructions to maximise product yield and minimise waste. To make sure that you meet all legal and company requirements for fire, health, safety and hygiene Who you are: Worked in a similar environment before including contract catering experience Quality driven Have excellent culinary skills with an attention to detail A creative thinker with sound knowledge of the latest food trends Have sound knowledge of hygiene, health and safety requirements Self-motivated with the ability to work in a high pressure environment Package for Chef de Partie: £15 per hour Saturday and Sunday, 6:30am - 6:30pm 24 hours per week

The Senior Sous Chef will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and plating. Responsible for leading the kitchen without the Head Chef. Maintain consistency and high standards of food quality and presentation. Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with the club’s standards and specifications. Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen at all times. Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing creative and innovative ideas to the table. Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of professional culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining or members club environment. Strong knowledge of French cuisine and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a small kitchen with a small team. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work under pressure. Passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in a similar role, enjoy the early starts in the morning and have a passion for creating new and exciting flavoured pastries for our coffee hatch. While experience in a similar environment is preferred, there is always opportunity for those who represent true hospitality.
