The Role We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers / Key Workers to join our bank team and provide additional weekend cover. We are particularly looking for staff who are available across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including day, evening and sleep-in shifts. Responsibilities • Support young people to develop independence and daily living skills, • Provide emotional and practical support, • Complete key-work sessions and support young people to achieve their individual goals, • Encourage engagement in education, training and employment, • Support young people with budgeting, meal planning, appointments and accessing the community, • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation, • Recognise, record and report safeguarding concerns appropriately, • Work collaboratively with social workers and other professionals, • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, • Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming and supportive home environment Pay & Shift Arrangements Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour Sleep-in payment: £50 per sleep-in Weekend shifts may include: • Friday: 2pm–8pm, • Saturday & Sunday: 8am–8pm day shifts, • Night shifts: 8pm–8am, • Sleep-in period: 11pm–7am, • On an 8pm–8am night shift, 8pm–11pm and 7am–8am are active working hours, paid at the normal hourly rate, with the 11pm–7am sleep-in paid at £50, • 15-minute paid handover where applicable Applicants should be flexible, as bank shifts will be offered according to the needs of the service.
