Assist in keeping the reception area clean and tidy, at all times. Conduct regular security checks throughout the day and report any security issues to line manager Provide reports, as required, for housekeepers and management. Administer all reservations, cancellations, and no-shows, in line with company policy. The Piano Works are looking for part time (1-2 days a week) fun loving, passionate and guest focused Cocktail bartenders to join our team and family. We have two fantastic live music venues in London, one located just off Covent Garden and the other Farringdon which are both part restaurant, part bar, part concert and full-on party. The Piano Works are non-stop, late night, live music venues where nightly 8 skilled musicians interact with the audience and play their song requests. Non-stop live music features from 11:30: to 16:00 for our raucous weekly Saturday brunches and from 1700 – 0100, five nights a week supported by a state of- the-art sound & lighting systems and DJ’s from 1am till late. Bar Manager - Job Descriptions We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to join our team at The Carpet / Taquiza, a vibrant nightclub, cocktail bar and authentic Mexican restaurant located in Peckham. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operation, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for our team and guests. Responsibilities: ● Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and barbacks, providing ongoing coaching and development. ● Develop and curate a creative and profitable drinks menu, working with the themes of the restaurant menu & nightlcub, staying on top of current trends and guest preferences. ● Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, cost control and stock counts. ● Ensure compliance with venue Licencing Conditions and Regulations around the sale of alcohol ● Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized bar environment. ● Develop and implement strategies to maximize bar sales and profitability. ● Coordinate with the GM to ensure appropriate staffing levels for peak hours. ● Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. ● Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience. ● Oversee the transition from restaurant bar into club bar, in coordination with the bar supervisor. ● Oversee the set up/takedown of the outside Bar during the summer period. Pay & Hours: ● £13.5 + 12.07% holiday pay + service charge ● 30-35 hours a week
We are looking for some new faces to join our wonderful bar team at our fantastic Stoke Newington pub. We are on the look out for friendly, organised individuals. Experience in the world of bars and restaurants is appreciated but not essential. This is a part-time position and weekend availability is essential!
