Westbury Logistics Ltd is seeking reliable, experienced and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day, night and weekend shifts. The role involves general haulage, trunking, traction and trailer work, with regular and ad-hoc opportunities available. Key responsibilities • Safely operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles., • Complete trunking, general haulage and trailer movements., • Carry out daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects., • Comply with drivers’ hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations., • Complete delivery paperwork and proof of delivery documentation., • Maintain professional standards when dealing with customers and transport teams., • Ensure vehicles and loads are operated safely and legally. Requirements • Valid UK Category C+E driving licence., • Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card., • Legal right to work in the UK, subject to satisfactory checks., • Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation, drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations., • Ability to understand and communicate in English for safety instructions, documentation and operational requirements., • Reliable, punctual and professional approach., • Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts when required., • Satisfactory driving licence checks, including endorsements and penalty points., • Previous HGV Class 1 experience is preferred.
