We are looking for a hands-on, reliable team member to support day-to-day operations at our garden centre in London N7. The role includes a wide range of tasks: loading and unloading stock, caring for plants, restocking displays, and ensuring the centre is clean, tidy, and well-presented. Occasional work may also be required at our store in London E5. This is an entry-level position with a strong emphasis on practical outdoor work. You must be physically fit and able to safely lift and carry up to 30kg. Daily duties may include moving pallets, lifting compost bags, and watering plants, so attention to detail and pride in maintaining a neat, organised space are essential. A minimum of 24 working hours per week is required. An interest in plants, along with reliability and a strong work ethic, are key. While not essential, a full UK driving licence is a plus, as there may be occasional stock transfers between sites. This makes the role convenient if you have other commitments, as long as you are able to commit to a minimum of 20 working hours per week. This is a customer-facing role, so presentation is important. The role involves carrying out deliveries and sometimes supporting our project and maintenance teams. It is a great starting position for those interested in the horticultural world.
