The Kisumu Children Trust is a small registered Christian charity (Number 1091477) and for the past 209 years or so has been helping orphans / abandoned and other destitute children in the Kisumu area of Kenya with loving Christian care, education, health and Bible teaching. Our administrator / bookkeeper for the past 15years is now retiring and we care looking for someone to take her place. The post is paid, employed or self-employed, and part-time, at present two days ;per week, but we are totally flexible. The post involves office administration, bookkeeping, sponsorship organisation, producing and emailing our (already written) monthly prayer news, mailing our quarterly newssheet and acknowledging gifts. Our present administrator prefers working from home, but we are happy to rent a small office if that would be more convenient for any applicant. A Job Description is available.
