We are looking for a brilliant, passionate and innovative Sourdough Baker with a huge amount of experience to join our team. We are a family run business. In line with our ethos, everything is freshly produced on site from the organic sourdough pizza, artisan bread, cakes, coffee, salads etc We believe in using high quality, wholesome, free range and organic produce from sustainable sources that are as local as can be. We specialise in long fermentation processes, traditional techniques and bake in a wood fired oven. Duties include: -Making dough, ingredients scaling, mixing, preparation, baking and finishing and packing of all breads and other specified bakery products in accordance with our standards and specifications. -Early starts, 5 to 6 days, 40 to 45 hours a week, standing up with frequent lifting of heavy bags of flour and dough. -Cleaning and maintaining your baking area and machinery to the highest health, safety and hygiene standards. you must: -be highly organised -able to work within a set time frame -fully understand the process from mixing, dough handling to wood fired oven work; - have an In depth experience of Sourdough, working with the starter
