Looking for a hands-on job where you can develop your mechanical skills?


T-vans is looking for a mechanically minded person to join our small team, working on a variety of used vans.


This would suit someone who already has some mechanical experience or a good practical understanding of vehicles, but is looking to build on their skills and gain more experience.


The work is varied and includes servicing, inspections, maintenance, repairs and fault finding, along with preparing vehicles for sale.


The role will include:

  • Servicing and routine maintenance
  • Brakes, suspension and general mechanical repairs
  • Vehicle inspections and fault finding
  • Using diagnostic equipment
  • General workshop duties
  • Preparing vehicles for sale, including cleaning when required

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in mechanics
  • Is practical and mechanically minded
  • Has some previous mechanical experience or knowledge
  • Is keen to learn and develop their skills
  • Is reliable and hardworking
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Is willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed
  • Has a full driving licence

You don't need to be a fully qualified technician. We're more interested in your practical ability, attitude and willingness to learn.


Monday–Friday 9am–5pm
