The post holder will supervise warehouse personnel, implement operational procedures, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and company policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Supervise all daily warehouse activities., • Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries., • Allocate duties and monitor warehouse staff performance., • Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of products., • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliation., • Operate and improve warehouse management systems., • Monitor key warehouse performance indicators., • Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions., • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work legislation., • Conduct warehouse safety inspections and risk assessments., • Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and PPE., • Coordinate vehicle loading schedules with transport operations., • Monitor warehouse security procedures., • Produce warehouse performance and inventory reports., • Train, coach and develop warehouse employees., • Conduct staff inductions and performance reviews., • Support recruitment and workforce planning., • Assist with operational budgeting and cost control., • Maintain document retention and audit records., • Liaise with suppliers, customers and transport providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
