Roaming Roast are a small chain of three specialty coffee trucks located in on the border of London and Hertfordshire.
We are a growing business looking for part time and full time baristas. We have a range of hours available depending on your preference.
Ideally you will be a career barista and who is able to demonstrate their ability think and act independently. As a small business, there's no where to hide for people who are not willing to give the job their full attention.
As we're an outdoor coffee truck, someone who enjoys being out in all weathers essential and being a practical problem solver is highly desireable.
Being a small business and sometimes working alone, we can be required to wear many hats - barista, plumber, handyperson or even electrician. This is the everyday reality of working on a coffee truck.
Run by husband and wife team Charlie and Abbi, we have a loyal customer base who come for a chat, as well as a coffee. Commonly cited as the best coffee in Borehamwood, we are a small business aiming to make a big difference to the quality of coffee people drink.
We serve specialty coffee from Origin and homemade treats made by Abbi, with a commitment to delivering coffee as the roaster intends: no syrups and no squirty cream. Our dedication to quality ensures that every customer enjoys a premium coffee experience.

Desired experience
Minimum 1 year full time (or part time equivalent) experience as a speciality coffee barista is essential
Someone who is crack on and do without needing to be asked
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities
Excellent Communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A team player who's known for being on time and reliable
A physically practical person who is prepared to attempt to fix things when they're broken
Resilience and adaptability is essential
Someone who enjoys the outdoors is highly advantageous due to the nature of our business
