Role Overview
The Pointer Inn is seeking an experienced, professional, and hands-on Bartender to lead daily bar operations in our traditional village pub. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, customer service, team leadership, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily bar operations
- Lead, train, and motivate bar staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage stock control, ordering, and monitoring, delivering
- Ensure cellar management, line cleaning, and product quality
- Maintain compliance with uk licencing laws, challenge 25, and health & safety regulations
- Handle cash management, till reconciliation, and reporting
- Support recruitment, staff scheduling and perfomance management
- Drive sales through promotions, events, and upselling
- Maintain a welcoming, community-focused pub atmosphere
