We are looking for a Bartender to join our front of house team at Plane Food Heathrow Terminal 5. Plane Food is a newly designed, state of the art restaurant situated airside at Heathrow Terminal 5. The restaurant offers passengers a wide variety of fantastic dining options - from breakfast to à la carte dining, express menus and picnics to take away, the choices are endless. Guests can also relax in our cocktail bar and enjoy delicious drinks and carefully selected wines. Plane Food is a newly designed, state of the art restaurant situated airside at Heathrow Terminal 5. THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION What you do as a Guest Server: You will be responsible for delivering a seamless front of house guest experience (welcome of guests, introduction of order at table (OAT), running food and beverage to tables, maintaining an efficient standard of service…) You will ensure that the guest journey is consistently seamless, always maintaining impeccable and efficient standards. Join our team as a Bartender at the Veranda Cafe, where we strive to create an environment of relaxation and joy for both our customers and staff. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in crafting delightful experiences for our guests with expertly mixed drinks and friendly service. Veranda Afterhours will start every day at 17:00 so every shift will commence from this time. Responsibilities: • Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair., • Maintain an organised and clean bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service., • Take accurate drink orders and offer recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction., • Operate the cash register for drink sales, ensuring correct transactions and change handling., • Engage warmly with customers, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere., • Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons. Requirements: • Previous experience in a bartending role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided., • Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating positive guest interactions., • Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining a calm demeanor., • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
