Responsibilities include: • Covering short-notice absences when a cleaner cannot attend., • Managing last-minute cancellations., • Performing supervisor-level cleans to uphold our high standards., • Stepping in for first cleans, deep cleans, or quality checks when needed. What We Need • Excellent attention to detail., • Flexible availability, including mornings or evenings., • Strong communication and reliability., • Experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred., • Drivers preferred but not essential, • Prepared to cover travel up to 1 hour 30 minutes when required., • Ability to move confidently between client locations. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitise classrooms, play areas, toilets, and communal areas Wipe down surfaces, toys, tables, and frequent touchpoints Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors Empty bins and manage waste safely Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen area Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed Ensure all areas are left clean, hygienic, and ready for the next day Follow nursery health and safety and safeguarding procedures Requirements: Must be self-employed and able to provide proof of status Enhanced DBS is required Previous cleaning experience in nurseries, schools, or commercial settings preferred Strong attention to detail and understanding of hygiene standards in childcare environments Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be available Monday to Friday, 2pm–5pm Must be able to start immediately
