- Perform skilled bricklayer work including bricklaying, block laying, and stone masonry.
- Interpret blueprints and construction plans to execute precise building layouts.
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials according to project specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and levelling of materials to meet structural requirements.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and smooth materials.
- Apply mortar and other bonding agents to securely join materials together.
- Install and repair structural components such as walls, partitions, and chimneys.
- Conduct inspections to assess the quality and integrity of completed work.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project tasks and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Lead in-house or outsourced teams when necessary to complete the work efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and quality standards.
