Job Title: Bus Driver
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely, following assigned routes and schedules, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be punctual, responsible, and comfortable operating large vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus along assigned routes and schedules
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies
- Keep accurate records of mileage, incidents, and passenger counts (if required)
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CPC) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Passenger endorsement)
- Clean driving record
- Previous bus or large-vehicle driving experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in various situations
- Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
Working Conditions
- Fixed or flexible schedules (depending on company needs)
- May include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Indoor/outdoor work environment with varying weather conditions
