Full Time 4/5 days per week (some weekends)
We are looking for a SMALL, friendly, reliable and experienced Tea Room manager to take over the day-to-day running of our busy and welcoming tea room.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for opening and running the tea room, preparing food and drinks, and ensuring customers receive excellent service.
Hours
- Approximately 10 am –5 pm
- Closed Mondays
- Salary to be discussed depending on experience
-Business performance/ sales bonus is also payable
Key Responsibilities - Managing the daily running of the tea room
- Preparing and serving coffee, teas and other drinks (barista experience preferred)
- Baking cakes and preparing food, including toasties, sausage rolls and sweet treats
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Managing stock and keeping the kitchen and service area clean and organised
- Supervising other members of staff whoworks a few days per week
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene are maintained at all times
About You - Friendly, reliable and self-motivated
- Experience working in a café, tea room or coffee shop
- Able to make barista-style coffees
- Confident with baking cakes and simple food preparation
- Holds a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) or is willing to work towards one.
- Comfortable working independently and managing the shop
- Organised and able to keep things running smoothly
