Job Purpose To provide general plumbing maintenance at a number of Residential/Commercial properties to ensure that they are kept safe, secure and in good condition. Accountabilities/Responsibilities Carry out a variety of planned and reactive plumbing maintenance tasks, which will be varied in nature. ( leaks, boilers, tap replacements etc.) Carry out planned preventative building maintenance in line with set programme's. Work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks. Manage and prioritize your own workload in order to complete repairs in a timely manner. The Role As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and fully compliant with DVSA regulations. Key Responsibilities: Carry out inspections, repairs and services to the highest of standards within scheduled times, meeting company standards. Making sure all necessary Vehicle Health Checks are completed accurately. Take responsibility for ensuring all jobs are completed to a good standard. Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage. Adhere to strict Health and safety guidelines at all times. Minimum Requirements: Minimum NVQ level qualification (or equivalent). The capability to work within a highly successful team. MOT Card preferable but not essential. A full UK driving licence is essential. 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays). Opportunity to be trained as an MOT tester.
