This permanent, part-time position is for a Care/Support Worker to provide essential support to a male family member living at home. The individual has severe complex disabilities, including significant mobility issues and communication difficulties, requiring assistance with daily living and personal care. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy individual who is flexible with shift patterns and can work independently to a great extent.
Available Roles:
- Role 1: Monday-Friday mornings, 07:30 AM - 09:30 AM
- Role 2: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM - 03:00 PM (2 weekends per month)
- Role 3: Saturday & Sunday, 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2 weekends per month)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the client's personal welfare and providing personal care.
- Prepare and administer meals and drinks.
- Supervise, plan, and assist with activities and social events, adhering to care plan guidelines.
- Ensure the client's room is kept in good order, reporting any issues immediately.
- Perform household duties related to the client, including cooking, washing, ironing, cleaning, and dusting.
- Complete daily records, care plan summaries, petty cash reports, and critical incident reports.
- Attend review meetings with the employer and other nominated persons.
- Undertake necessary training courses as enrolled by the employer.
- Accompany the client to hospital appointments, day centres, and other therapeutic care.
- Liaise effectively with other agencies.
Having a driver's license is an advantage but not essential. Opportunities to escort on holidays may be available for the right person. Please note that pets reside within the household.
