This permanent, part-time position is for a Care/Support Worker to provide essential support to a male family member living at home. The individual has severe complex disabilities, including significant mobility issues and communication difficulties, requiring assistance with daily living and personal care. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy individual who is flexible with shift patterns and can work independently to a great extent.

Available Roles:
Role 1: Monday-Friday mornings, 07:30 AM - 09:30 AM
Role 2: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM - 03:00 PM (2 weekends per month)
Role 3: Saturday & Sunday, 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2 weekends per month)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the client's personal welfare and providing personal care.
Prepare and administer meals and drinks.
Supervise, plan, and assist with activities and social events, adhering to care plan guidelines.
Ensure the client's room is kept in good order, reporting any issues immediately.
Perform household duties related to the client, including cooking, washing, ironing, cleaning, and dusting.
Complete daily records, care plan summaries, petty cash reports, and critical incident reports.
Attend review meetings with the employer and other nominated persons.
Undertake necessary training courses as enrolled by the employer.
Accompany the client to hospital appointments, day centres, and other therapeutic care.
Liaise effectively with other agencies.

Having a driver's license is an advantage but not essential. Opportunities to escort on holidays may be available for the right person. Please note that pets reside within the household.
