Job Overview

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Carers and Senior Carers to join a growing healthcare team supporting individuals in residential and care settings. This role involves providing high-quality person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a caring nature, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support tailored to individual needs
• Assist with daily living activities including mobility, nutrition, and hygiene
• Support residents with emotional wellbeing and social engagement
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns appropriately
• Follow care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidelines
• Administer or support with medication where required and trained
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence for all individuals

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Carer

• Lead and support care staff during shifts
• Assist with medication administration and MAR documentation
• Support care planning and risk assessments
• Escalate concerns and liaise with management when necessary
• Mentor and guide junior team members

Requirements

• Previous experience within a care or support setting preferred
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care desirable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and nights if required
• Medication training and moving & handling training beneficial
• A compassionate and professional approach to care
