Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese cuisine, including Peking, Szechuan, and Cantonese dishes, ensuring consistent taste and high-quality standards.
- Design and develop menu items to meet customer preferences and market trends.
- Manage the procurement of ingredients and inventory, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently.
- Maintain the kitchen's hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage food costs to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Handle high-pressure kitchen environments during peak hours while ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Familiar with working in Chinese cuisine, with expertise in Peking, Szechuan, and Cantonese cooking techniques.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, including food preparation, hygiene, and inventory control.
- Ability to innovate and create new dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, capable of managing and mentoring staff.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and ability to adhere to these standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
