Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Sushi Chef. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing world class Sushi and exceptional customer service while ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This role is based at across our three sites 2 in Eastbourne and 1 in Halisham these sites are situated inside Tesco and Asda sites (Applicants MUST be able to travel to Eastbourne in Kent easily to be considered)
Duties:
- Lead with food preparation and culinary tasks
- Interact with customers to upsell and provide recommendations to increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Experience: - Previous experience making Sushi or in a restaurant or food service environment is required
- Previous Sushi rolling experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with upselling techniques is beneficial
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures is desired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
