Key Responsibilities • Coaching Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions and PE lessons across a range of sports (e.g., football, basketball, cricket, netball, athletics)., • Child Development: Promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, acting as a positive role model., • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities are delivered in a safe, controlled environment, adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and curriculum policies., • Assessment & Feedback: Provide ongoing feedback and support to children to help them improve skills and performance, and potentially monitor and report on their progress., • Collaboration: Work effectively with other coaches, school staff, and the wider community to coordinate events and ensure smooth operations., • Administration: Complete necessary administrative duties, such as session tracking, attendance registers, and risk assessments., • Mentorship/Leadership (for senior roles): Opportunities exist to mentor other coaches and PE teachers, manage programmes, and take on operational leadership roles. Essential Skills and Requirements • A strong passion for sports and working with children., • Relevant sports coaching qualification (typically NGB Level 2 or higher)., • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills., • Ability to motivate and inspire participants of all abilities., • A valid driving license and access to a car is often essential due to the need to travel to various locations., • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check., • Commitment to professional development and ongoing training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through customised workout programmes, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants. Candidate will be responsible for leading 6-1 group personal training sessions and 1-2-1s alongside marketing and sales for new clients of which training is provided. Duties • Lead group and individual fitness sessions tailored to clients’ needs and abilities, • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring safety and effectiveness, • Develop personalised training programmes based on client goals and fitness levels, • Motivate clients to achieve their health and fitness objectives, • Monitor client progress and adjust programmes accordingly, • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming workout environment, • Provide guidance on nutrition, injury prevention, and overall wellness, • Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, • Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse clients, • Knowledge of human anatomy and exercise physiology, • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour, • Relevant certifications in fitness instruction or personal training are desirable, • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
