Key responsibilities of the Field Service & Commissioning Engineerinclude: • Installation and site-based commissioning of LV/MV switchgear systems, including functional testing, protection relay configuration, and system integration and site acceptance testing, • Conduct pre-commissioning checks, insulation resistance tests, and fault diagnostics,, • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, • Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery, • Prepare and submit detailed commissioning reports, test records, and documentation, and provide technical support and troubleshooting, • Apprentice trained/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent., • Proven experience in commissioning LV/MV switchgear, • Familiarity with protection relays, • Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and automation interfaces, • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Willingness to travel (including internationally) and work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

  IT Technician / Computer Hardware Engineer to do Field Service EPOS Field Service Engineer Looking for someone confident on PC hardware to undertake swap outs of IT and EPOS equipment (electronic point of sale - till systems) for well-known retail brands across the North West, an ideal home location would be around the LS / BD post code areas: anywhere 30 mins of Leeds or Bradford. You must have a full manual driver’s licence to apply for this role. A fully expensed company van is provided. You will be required to drive to multiple sites per day, to attend field service calls on the IT and EPOS equipment in the client's customer's stores. Training on EPOS hardware will be given. The role requires work 5 days out of 7 to cover Saturday and Sunday, on 1 in 2 Saturdays, 1 in 3 Sundays. Standard hours 0900 - 17:30, overtime is paid outside of this. Package of £27153 + Van + overtime; made up of a Basic salary of £26200 and shift / rotation on call payments of around £953 per annum. You will be the Evening On-Call Engineer, currently 1 week in 6, where you work 12:00 - 20:00 standard hours + emergency on call until 22:00. This is a 40 hours per week full time PAYE contract. For any additional hours worked, overtime is paid at x1.5 Mon - Saturday and x2 Sunday and bank holidays (most Engineers do £3000 per annum in overtime).
