Morgan Braddox are providing an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Trade Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. We are a well established construction company operating from Mansfield with a client base working us throughout the East-Midlands & South Yorkshire area.
We predominantly carry out insurance building repairs along side our planned domestic building & renovation projects. We pride ourselves on not only producing work to an exception standard and supplying our customers with a high level of service but more importantly creating a comfortable workplace for our employees where they feel valued and appreciated.

Over the years within this industry we have not only witnessed these bad habits of others first hand but also heard many issues raised by trustworthy sources which has made this a priority on the way we operate.
To name a few of these negative points that we have personally achieved is anything from poor retention rates of staff, unorganised jobs, dissatisfied customers, poor relationships with suppliers, payment issues with wages and accounts, absent business owners and basically just and overall unpleasant environment to work in. We feel it's important to not only keep our customers happy but more so to keep those that supply that service satisfied also.
For this role, the successful candidate we are seeking will be part of a small team carrying out a varied range of planned works in un-occupied and occupied properties. They should have a minimum of 4-5 years trade experience with an NVQ or equivalent qualification in their prime trade however we would look to consider time served individuals also. The Candidate will need to have basic IT skills and speak good English. They must have an outstanding work ethic and the ability to build good working relationships, they shall need to be respectful and self motivated with a can-do attitude and have the ability to act upon their own initiative while producing work to an exceptionally high standard, having pride in whatever they do.
Ideally due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will be required to have skills in a variety of trades other than their Primary trade, these are, but not limited to, all elements of Joinery, Tiling, Bathroom & Kitchen Replacements, Roofline Works, Basic Plumbing, Plastering & Hard Landscaping.
Our usual hours of work are 8:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday, with overtime totalled monthly and given back as time in lieu. Occasionally with plenty of notice the successful candidate must be willing to work away for short durations but this is very rare.
A full Uk Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points is required for this position and additionally a DBS check will be carried out for the successful candidate as we can on occasions work within educational environments.
After a probation period has been complete a company vehicle can be supplied however the candidate will need to have their own tools.
It would be preferred if the successful candidate held a valid CSCS Card and Asbestos Awareness Certificate however these are not critical.
Where applicable the successful candidate will be automatically enrolled to our work place pension scheme with a minimum employers contribution of 3%
All relevant H&S Training will be provided to employed members of our team
