You’ll be working to deliver building materials from our Eastleigh branch to our local customers in a safe and professional manner. Loading the vehicle in the yard using the HIAB, it’ll be your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is properly loaded, safe and in-line with road and transport legislation. Our drivers are the face of the business and will demonstrate professionalism whilst on the road and with our customers at all times. It’s likely that you’ll perform around 14 drops a day, regularly returning back to branch to reload your vehicle. Our Eastleigh branch has 17 colleagues, a great, friendly team operating a tool hire department and 3 vehicles and we are based at unit 16-17, Parham Drive. Am I right for the job? You will have a Class 2 driving license, up to date CPC records and 12 months+ driving experience. No HIAB? No problem! The branch will fully fund your HIAB training, ensuring you’re qualified and comfortable operating vehicle-mounted cranes. You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones. You will be safety focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner. The job - Delivering premium cooking oil and collecting used cooking oil from customers in a friendly and professional way - Collecting food waste and providing replacement bins - You’ll make your deliveries in modern vehicles using handheld technology to record your volumes What we’re looking for - Class 2 driving licence without any DR10 or IN10 (or equivalent) licence offence codes - No more than six points on your driving licence - Ideally experience in a multi drop, delivery or collection role, but not essential - Full CPC card – but we can help you get up to date - As the role can involve moving and carrying weights in excess of 20kgs, we will provide manual handling training and medical screening to the successful candidate. HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED Seafast Containers Ltd are seeking full time, permanent pensionable Class 1 HGV drivers. LOCATION : Marchwood, Southampton. WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU? - Full time, permanent pensionable employee. - Working week is Monday-Friday, with overtime often available. - Good rates of pay where your earnings, per week, could exceed £1,000 . - Monthly pay, with support if needed. - 24/7 on call support. ** ** WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? - Occasional nights out and early starts are required. - NO TRAMPING . - To deliver customer products to specified locations at times specified by them. - Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork. - Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure. - Ensure PODs are signed and returned to the office at the end of the working week.
