Childminder Assistant (Part‑Time) – January 2027 start. Location: Brooklands, Milton Keynes (MK10) Job Type: Part‑time Hours: Up to 25 hours per week (approx. 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday; hours may vary depending on daily needs) About Us Cuddle&Care Tiney Home is a warm, Montessori‑inspired, EYFS‑aligned childminding setting in Brooklands, Milton Keynes. We provide a nurturing, play‑rich environment for children aged 1–5, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, creativity, and inclusive early years practice. We are looking for a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Childminder Assistant to join our setting from January 2027. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the childminder in delivering high‑quality care and play‑based learning, • Assisting with daily routines, including meals, toileting, and transitions, • Setting up and engaging in age‑appropriate activities, • Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, • Following safeguarding procedures and supporting children’s wellbeing, • Communicating positively with children and families Essential Requirements • Experience working with children aged 1–5 years, • Strong understanding of Safeguarding, • Paediatric First Aid (PFA), • Enhanced DBS (current) Desirable • Knowledge of EYFS, • Experience in a nursery, preschool, or childminding setting, • Creativity and confidence in supporting play‑based learning What We Offer • A warm, supportive working environment, • Opportunities to develop your early years skills, • A small, home‑from‑home setting with a strong focus on child‑led learning, • Consistent weekday hours (term‑time focused)
