Floor Manager

Responsible with GM and AGM for performance of the restaurant (sales, staff performance, customer satisfaction, etc) Support GM in strategy definition (analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability) Prepare daily reports. Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef Coordinate the operation of the restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team Train, manage and motivate staff Respond to customer queries and complaints Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices Accountable of high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash Accountable to comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements Report to GM future equipment needs Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed Lead trainings (food & drinks) Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff Prepare shift schedules (ROTA) and send to GM Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed Gather guests’ feedback
