We are looking for a talented and friendly Hair Stylist / Hairdresser to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide a high standard of hairdressing services while delivering excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Cutting, styling and finishing for ladies’ and gents’ hair
- Colouring, highlights, balayage and other chemical services (where qualified)
- Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles/treatments
- Promoting salon services and retail products
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming salon environment
- Ensuring all services are carried out in line with salon standards and health & safety guidelines
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification
- Ideally at least 2 years’ salon experience
- Confident in cutting, styling and colouring techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be available to work Saturdays
Hours & Pay
- Part-time role, around 16 hours per week (including Saturdays; weekdays to be agreed)
