We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Handyman to join our team at Beverley Grange Nursing Home. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing general repairs and maintenance around the facility, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Conducting routine inspections of the premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Assisting with the upkeep of grounds and outdoor areas.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Managing and organizing tools and equipment.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in general maintenance and repair work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Committed to providing a high standard of work in a care home setting.
