We are looking for a super star to help us succeed with the expansion of our restaurant space both in the night time and daytime. You will need to be a leader of people and someone who can inspire, motivate, and develop talent organically. This role is all about the guest so someone who is customer focused is essential. Commercially minded and someone who wants to make this restaurant a cut above the rest. As our Shift/team leader, you will create an exciting work atmosphere to motivate your team and do whatever it takes to get the job done. You will be responsible for leading and driving the daily operations within the restaurant. Our Team Leader will be responsible for the performance of the team and ensuring every guest has a positive experience with us. As our team leader you will lead the restaurant service, make sure stock ensure targets are met and standards are kept to the highest standards. Communication and people management skills are a must. You will need to be confident and have an eye for attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous shift leader or hospitality experience. Weekends essential.

As a Commis Chef in our Japanese restaurant, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Japanese dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen team, learning various cooking techniques and contributing to the overall success of our culinary offerings. Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, chopping, and marinating., • Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency. Cooking: • Cook meals under the supervision of senior chefs, including sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes., • Maintain high levels of food hygiene and safety standards. Kitchen Maintenance: • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized., • Ensure all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. Team Collaboration: • Work as part of a team to achieve high standards of food service., • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential., • A passion for Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn., • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure., • Good communication and teamwork skills.
