We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with walking floor vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

• Operate walking floor vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Ensuring that the load is secured properly for transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with managers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record and up to date CPC.
• Must hold a full UK license for a minimum of 2 years
• Experience with class 1 walking floor/tipper vehicles and their operation is advantageous but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Early starts required

Salary of £46,800 per year based on a 55 hour working week which is Monday to Friday and alternating Saturday mornings. Overtime is paid after 55 hours at £25 per hour
