Due to further expansion, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with walking floor vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
- Operate walking floor vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Ensuring that the load is secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with managers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record and up to date CPC.
- Must hold a full UK license for a minimum of 2 years
- Experience with class 1 walking floor/tipper vehicles and their operation is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Early starts required

Salary of £46,800 per year based on a 55 hour working week which is Monday to Friday and alternating Saturday mornings. Overtime is paid after 55 hours at £25 per hour
