Shift: 5ON 2OFF - 05:00am. Salary: 37804 per annum. • As an HGV Class 2 driver you will be essential in ensuring timely and safe delivery to our valued customers., • You will be working on a contract which specialises in Multi Drop Tyre deliveries on Rigid Vehicles and Collecting Scrap Tyres., • The role will include delivering wines., • Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork., • The role may include curb side deliveries and will include manual lifting., • Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures including all aspects of health safety and hygiene, • Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department, • Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive, • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure, • Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery, • Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business, • Any other duties as reasonably required Qualifications : • Class C entitlement with 1 years Class 2 experience., • Physically fit as the role will include manual lifting., • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers hours., • Excellent communication skills, • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure., • Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
