We are seeking warm, motivated, and person-centred Relief Support Workers to join our friendly team in Wakefield. Our service provides person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities, each with unique support needs. We are committed to promoting active and independent lifestyles in line with the principles of Creative Support.In this role, you will provide practical & emotional support, including respectful personal care, for our service users. You will help in maximising social opportunities and community engagement, foster warm & trusting relationships with service users, and work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to provide a coordinated and consistent service.A minimum of 12 months' UK care experience is essential for all Relief roles . You will attend mandatory induction courses before commencing work within our Wakefield services.As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts in any area of the country. The app also provides information on the service and shifts, including directions. This position enables you to pick up shifts at times that suit you, making it ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities.
