Home Care Assistant - ADSL Care - West Chiltington

To provide safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, supporting them to remain independent and maintain their wellbeing.

Main Duties

• Support with personal care, dressing and continence needs.
• Assist with medication in line with care plans and training.
• Prepare meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support with mobility and safe moving and handling.
• Complete light household tasks.
• Follow care plans and risk assessments.
• Record care accurately after each visit.
• Report any concerns, changes or safeguarding issues immediately.
• Maintain dignity, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Attend training, supervision and competency assessments.

Requirements

• Caring, reliable and respectful.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to complete required training.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.
