Housekeeper - California Hotel 3* Kings Cross Born in 1985, our 60 bedrooms California Hotel is a unique guesthouse, the first property opened within The Megaro Collection portfolio. It has always been the leading character of the company, through its Art Deco look and vibrant bar & Terrace. We are looking for a housekeeper for this wonderful property, someone that will be fully independent in ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness. The housekeeper will be responsible for guests’ bedrooms and the general upkeep of the hotel’s public areas. You will be methodical and conscientious with an eye for detail, ensuring the rooms are always sparkling clean. We are now recruiting for Room Attendants/Hotel Housekeepers based in the heart of Bloomsbury to join our vibrant and multi-cultural team. We are offering 2 Hour Trial shift to anybody with previous cleaning experience who is interested in learning how to attend to Hotel Rooms. As Room Attendant you will carry out the following duties: - Servicing a minimum of 18 rooms and public areas are cleaned and presented up to our company standards to ensure guest satisfaction on every stay with us. - Perform all housekeeping duties such as preparing trolley, stripping bed linen & making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, restocking cleaning chemicals, cleaning mirrors, dusting, wiping surfaces and replenishing courtesy items in all rooms. - Work on daily cleaning job lists from the room status, arrivals and departures lists- often includes flipping beds, cleaning drapes as and when required. - Fulfil all reasonable guest requests such as delivering pillows, iron and linen requests in the room and service late checkout rooms. - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all back of house and guest areas. Charlotte Guest House in West Hampstead is looking for a Housekeeper/cleaner minimum 5 days per week ( minimum 6 hours in each day ) so a minimum of 30 hours per week, including some weekends on a rotational basis. As Room Attendant your key responsibilities will include: To service occupied or departure rooms to the standards as set out by the departmental SOPs; To ensure service areas are left clean and tidy and trolleys restocked at the end of each shift and all cleaning equipment is stored in a tidy manner; To provide service to all guest in public areas and rooms, ensuring that all supplies and amenities are refreshed and replaced accordingly; To prepare sofa beds, extra beds and baby cots as required; To check all work areas at the end of the day, ensuring all areas are free of linen and rubbish; To deliver clean lined to the allocated floor and to help keep clean and tidy all linen rooms and trolley; To report immediately any maintenance defects noticed whilst carrying out duties. KT&T is looking to hire Hotel Room attendant staff for its hotels in Central London, in the following areas: Liverpool Street, Old Street, and Piccadilly Circus. All positions can be full-time and part-time, usually morning shifts, 6-8 hours per day, and 4-6 days per week.
