As a Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, and collecting the bill. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Ideally, you have an interest in food, wine and the London restaurant scene, and are passionate about pasta and Neapolitan pizza! Our aim is to be one of the most personable, attentive & creative Neapolitan pizza&pasta restaurants in London; it will be your job to ensure guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded. Keep in mind that Waiter/Waitress duties may require working in shifts and/or occasionally during weekends and holidays. We are an award winning Italian street food from Bologna, Italy, we have opened a store in London and are looking to expand the UK team, so we need more hands on deck: someone who is willing to learn the art of making this very specific kind of product while connecting with the crowd and managing the flow of customers. Human interaction is key at Indegno, so being friendly and attentive while taking orders and chatting with folks in line is a must. Eventually, you will rotate to a different "base", where you will be responsible for preparing and frying the crescentinas. Sometimes you will be asked to be the person managing the cash register, requiring speed with calculations and remembering who ordered what to streamline the service. It's a multi-faceted, dynamic position, you will definitely never get bored!
