Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Full Time
West Malling, Kent
We are a warm, welcoming and family-run day nursery in West Malling seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. The successful candidate will be passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
- Plan and support engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities
- Complete observations, assessments and learning records
- Build strong professional relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion within the setting
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all children at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating learning environment
- Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the daily running of the nursery
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach
- Previous experience working within an early years setting preferred
