Parkland Motors is expanding its workshop team and seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to deliver high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of vehicle makes and models.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
- Perform vehicle health checks and identify potential issues
- Repair brakes, suspension, exhausts, engine components, and other systems
- Use diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes
- Undertake engine repairs and potential rebuilds
- Complete all work accurately and efficiently
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment
- Keep clear and accurate job records
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or in a similar role; a minimum of one year is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance, are preferred
- A full UK driving licence is preferred
- Ability to commute reliably or relocate before starting work
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required. The role is based in person.
