4-Day Working Week – Monday to Thursday

Due to continued growth, Lyndon Systems Ltd is looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our established team.
This is a varied, hands-on role working both independently and as part of our wider service team, attending customer sites across the UK to carry out repairs, maintenance and fault finding on specialist commercial vehicle conversions and welfare vehicles.
The majority of work will be completed within the normal working week; however, due to the nationwide nature of the role, occasional overnight stays and working away from home will be required.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending customer sites across the UK
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Fault finding on 12V electrical systems and vehicle conversion equipment
• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Liaising directly with customers while representing Lyndon Systems professionally
• Working independently and managing your own workload
• Working with our Doncaster-based technical and service teams when required
• Occasional overnight stays when working further afield
• Completing occasional workshop-based repairs at our Doncaster site

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone practical, reliable and confident working independently.
Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Vehicle Technician or similar
• Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with commercial vehicles, welfare vehicles or specialist vehicle conversions would be advantageous
• A good understanding of 12V electrical systems
• A practical, can-do approach to problem solving
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently while representing Lyndon Systems to a high standard
• A full UK driving licence – a clean licence is preferred but not essential

Specific product and conversion training can be provided to the right candidate.
