As a Retail Optical Assistant at Selectspecs, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service by guiding clients through selecting eyewear that perfectly matches their vision requirements and personal style. This position involves a dynamic blend of direct customer engagement, technical support, and essential administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Assist customers with frame selection, ensuring precise fittings, adjustments, and repairs for optimal comfort and visual acuity.
  • Pre-screening: Conduct pre-screening eye examinations to support our optometry team.
  • Administrative Tasks: Efficiently manage scheduling appointments, handle phone queries, and process payments accurately.
  • Product Knowledge: Build and apply comprehensive knowledge of optical products and services, including various frames, lenses, and contact lenses, to best serve customer needs.
  • Sales & Merchandising: Proactively promote products and services, and maintain the store's visual appeal through meticulous organisation and effective stock management.
