Nursery Manager Location: South LondonSalary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a well-established and highly regarded Early Years setting in South London.This is an ideal role for a confident leader who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare, supporting staff development, and creating an exceptional environment for children, families, and colleagues.The Role As Nursery Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, compliance, and customer service are maintained at all times.You will work closely with your Deputy Manager to ensure the nursery operates effectively throughout the week, providing strong leadership, clear direction, and a positive culture for both children and staff.This position offers genuine autonomy, allowing you to organise your working time to ensure the nursery remains fully operational and successful.Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the nursery teamEnsure compliance with all EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirementsDrive occupancy and maintain strong relationships with familiesManage staff performance, recruitment and developmentOversee budgets, resources and operational performanceMaintain high standards of care, learning and child developmentPrepare for and support regulatory inspectionsFoster a positive, inclusive and professional nursery cultureRequirements Previous experience as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior Leader within an Early Years settingFull and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirementsProven leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesPassion for delivering exceptional outcomes for childrenWhat's on Offer?
