As a Retail Optical Assistant at Vision Express, you’ll assist our customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs. You’ll help with frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings. Additionally, you may perform some pre-screening eye examinations and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, supporting the phone lines from customer queries and processing payments. Overall, your goal is to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our customers leave happy, with eyewear that fits properly and meets their vision needs. You’ll play a key part in our mission of helping our customers to ‘See More and Be More’ by providing tailored and effective service, to help customers maximise their visual potential and enhance their lifestyle. Job Description: As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to healthcare professionals and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients. Monitoring vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the medical staff. Assisting with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning. Providing emotional support and companionship to patients. Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas. Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as necessary. Maintaining accurate records of patient care activities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and observation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
