As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will lead the charge in: • Designing and delivering a cutting-edge, personalised curriculum tailored to diverse needs, • Driving outstanding teaching and assessment practices that unlock every pupil’s potential, • Coaching and inspiring staff to be the best educators they can be Key Responsibilities • Lead whole-school strategy on curriculum, teaching, and assessment, • Develop innovative pathways across all subjects and key stages, • Use data insightfully to track progress and tailor interventions, • Champion trauma-informed, inclusive approaches that put pupils first, • Mentor and empower staff through dynamic CPD and coaching We’re looking for a strong, inspiring, and forward-thinking leader who is: • A qualified, experienced leader with QTS and a passion for SEND education, • Skilled in curriculum design, assessment, and evidence-based pedagogy, • Familiar with ASDAN, OCR Life and Living Skills, Functional Skills, and Entry Level Certificates, • A collaborative leader, confident working alongside clinical and multidisciplinary teams, • Calm under pressure, reflective, and always solution-focused Brick Lane School in East London is an independent school offering education for students aged 5 years to 18 years with a primary diagnosis of Autism. OFG developed a Neurodiversity Strategy (AAD) which informs how we provide education and clinical supports for autistic individuals in an environment which is conducive to their strengths and needs. The school is located just 10 paces off the vibrant and cosmopolitan Brick Lane which is well served by public transport services including Santander Bikes. The school does have parking for staff however we encourage staff to make use of environmentally friendly alternatives and as a company the cycle to work scheme is available for all employees. The aim of the school is to provide specialist individual support to each pupil, enabling them to reach their potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We will provide students with as much freedom as possible while offering a safe and supervised environment.
