As we embark on an exciting new project, we are seeking a confident and reliable Recruitment Assistant to support our recruitment efforts. This is a no-experience-needed role, as we will provide full training and coaching on what we expect. However, the ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role, where speaking with a wide range of people is a daily activity.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our team on a temporary contract basis to help us fill urgent roles. In this role, you will be interviewing candidates, explaining job requirements, and assessing if they are the right fit for our needs. You will also help support new hires as they settle into the company. This is a key role within our recruitment project, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable speaking to people and can confidently represent our company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews with candidates for urgent roles, via Zoom.
• Clearly explain job roles and responsibilities to prospective candidates.
• Evaluate candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the role.
• Source and identify suitable candidates for available roles.
• Support new recruits as they integrate into the company, ensuring they settle in smoothly.
• Follow company policies and ensure candidates understand Gain Grounds’ expectations.
• Work independently, ensuring timely and effective recruitment across the project.
• Keep track of the recruitment process and progress of candidates.
Requirements:
• Confident speaker with fluent English (both written and verbal).
• A background in customer service, sales, or any role where speaking with new people is a daily occurrence.
• Must have a laptop with a webcam and microphone, as Zoom will be used for interviews.
• Access to a completely quiet workspace to conduct interviews and handle recruitment tasks.
• No prior recruitment experience required – full training will be provided.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Contract Details:
• This is a temporary contract for 30 days, with the possibility of extension.
• The hourly pay rate is £16.83, above the average for similar roles.
• You will be expected to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the possibility of working additional hours as needed.
