Chemistry / Science Teacher Vacancy - State School - Chemistry to A Level required - Modern Orthodox Secondary School - MPS1 - UPS3 - QTS Required - Hertfordshire
A Jewish Secondary School is looking to recruit a Science Teacher from September 2026. The ideal teacher will have a Chemistry specialism and ability to teach up to KS5.
The teacher would teach roughly 20 lessons per week across KS3 to KS5. There are approximately 30 children in each class in KS3 and KS4 and smaller classes around 15 children in KS5.
The ideal teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status QTS and have a specialism in Chemistry, not Biology or Physics. The role is suitable for a teacher with some experience, or an ECT.
Modern Orthodox Jewish school for boys and girls, with a "Good" Ofsted result and "Outstanding" aspects. The Science department is made up of 8 members of staff, including Head of department. aged 10–18.
