We are seeking a confident, caring, and experienced Care Team Leader to take charge of shifts and support the smooth running of our care home in Southend-on-Sea. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate care staff during allocated shifts, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect
Support with care planning, medication administration, and safeguarding protocols
Maintain clear communication with families, professionals, and senior management
Promote a positive team culture and mentor junior staff
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
About You:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Previous experience in a senior care role, ideally within a residential or nursing setting
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Compassionate, reliable, and committed to person-centred care
Able to remain calm and decisive under pressure
